What's This Blog About Anywayz?

By Gary

Gary has arrived at OYIT.

The thing about my post is that I have no idea what my "thing" is going to be. Luckily, I have a peer-reviewed list of things that I am adequately experienced in writing about the following topics:

  • An episode-by-episode live journal of my personal reflections as I watch every episode of Doogie Howser MD available on Hulu.

  • A daily profile of famous (and not so famous) loose cannons.

  • 1940s radio show ideas.

  • Spencer's Gift product reviews.

  • Movies that need Dane Cook and why.

Please vote and I will do my next article on whatever topic is chosen.*

*In the event of a 5-way tie: I will do a single post about a Doogie Howser radio episode where Vinnie and Doogie search for the "perfect" gift from Spencer's to win back Wanda's heart. In a crazy case of mistaken identiy, Vinnie ends up starring in the new Dane Cook movie. Meanwhile, Dane Cook sleeps with Wanda. Doogie shows off his new blacklight Zepplin poster in his work office.

It's been long awaited! I vote for movies that need Dane Cook.

In the words of New York Times movie critic A.O. Scott, "I’ve occasionally heard Dane Cook, one of the stars of “Good Luck Chuck,” described as a comedian. I find this confusing, since my understanding is that comedians are people who say and do things that are funny. Perhaps Mr. Cook is some new kind of conceptual satirist whose shtick is to behave in the manner of a person attempting to be funny without actually being, you know, funny. Or maybe he answered an ad in the back of a magazine and sent away for a mail-order license to practice comedy."

WHAT liberal media!!>>??

I'd like to see Doogie Howser reviews. Possibly Major Dad reviews, which I will co-write with you. I'm looking for a reason to watch Major Dad as badly as you are for Doogie.

1940s radio show ideas because no one on this site writes about the great forgotten medium of radio

I have a bluegrass radio show on KCOU.fm you can listen to 2nite from 6-8 pm CST via the internet which would've been a common show in the 1940s.

Since I relive the 1940s every wednesday night, I vote for loose cannons.
