GOOD MORNING, WEDNESDAY-NAM

By Nate

Are you ready for the country? I mean, morning? Whatever, they're synonymous. I saw Crazy Heart last night like Maddie did the night before last. Here's some Waylon:

Holla.

Movie Recommendation

I finally got around to seeing Crazy Heart, and I recommend you do, too--and not ONLY because you get to see Colin Farrell do his best Alan Jackson impression, although that's reason enough. This film moved me in a way no film has since Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

As my friend and I walked up the escalator to leave the theatre, five minutes after the credits rolled and we collected ourselves, we both broke down crying. This may be reflective of my poor emotional state (don't ask), but because we were BOTH still holding back tears seven minutes later outside of the Broadway-Lafayette Subway station, I think it's more reflective of how touching the movie is. All of my life goals (success, fame, trying every type of cheese, etc.) have been replaced by one: To road trip through Texas, shirtless (again, don't ask), while listening to country western music.

True Story.

Was That Last Segment Just "Me Being Lazy?"

Yes, it was, but I did add that "true story" part. By that I meant someday, the story of Bad Blake will be my life.

(I hope, I hope, I hope! I can't wait till I lose that....oops, almost spoiled a big part of it! AA here I come!)

Today's Prediction:

Even though I just started writing Wednesday's GM post today, I am going to quit and start writing country songs. Hopefully those songs will rocket me to the top of the country charts ushering in a new era of outlaw country music. I will have a lot of success and take an upcoming country artist under my wing. Eventually my fame will wane, and I will play bowling alleys and small town honky-tonks in my late 50s. I will perpetually be in love with Maggie Gyllenhaal-type women (I have a triangle of freckles on my right jaw/throat like Maggie does on her left!) and fuck up a relationship with the best one...but I've said too much already.

LOOKOUT! Not ending with a prediction!

I am obsessed with her now. I was undecided on her in The Dark Knight and other films, but now I am definitely in love.

I already intimated this on Facebook, but that Jesus/dinosaur picture is the best picture I have ever seen! I wish that was our new flag
