Good Mornin from OYIT [March 24, 2009]

By Jake

Good morning everybody. I just woke up and had a big, steaming hot cup of coffee that I made myself. You know, with the economy in the state that it is in (bad), you have to do everything you can to save a little money. One way to save money is to not buy a $12 cup of coffee from Starbucks, or a mom and pop coffee shop. People, let's grow up and make our own coffee.

Weather

This is a snow map, and what this should tell you, if you're in the good parts of the US, is that there is not going to be snow. If you're like me, then you are happy to see this map. I personally hate winter, snow and ice. In fact, this is my favorite time of the year. I hope a lot of our readers are going to plant gardens. If you are please leave a comment and tell me what you're growing.

Childhood Game of the Day
Today's game is paddleball. Paddleball is a game of skill where one must whack a rubber ball attached to a paddle with a rubber string. The idea is to paddle the ball as many times as possible. Paddleball is also a very useful weapon, see in the movie Three Ninjas on Magic Mountain. The characters in that movie are just like you and I, and we should all use the paddleball as a weapon if we are under attack by crazy amusement park attendants.

Today's Cereal
Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries is just like regular Cap'n Crunch, except it has tiny balls that are supposed to be fruit. It's not fruit. A Crunchberry is not fruit, and don't count it as such. Although the Crunchberry is not any healthier than the regular pieces of Cap'n Crunch, it is one of the most delicious pieces of cereal one can find. If not for the Crunchberry, Cap'n Crunch would have never had the resources to defeat the Soggies.
