
After a few months of operation, they quickly gave up and returned to their normal lives of failing classes and dropping out of school. Yet the urge to restart One Year in Texas grew inside of them like a cancerous tumor, forcing them to get unnecessary chemotherapy treatments.
Seven years later, Jake and Glenn decided to restart One Year in Texas on a whim, this time asking friends to help. They contacted a small group of writers, and the real One Year in Texas was born. Bub, Maddie, Keelin, Nate and Katy were just a few of the writers that helped shape One Year in Texas into what it is today: a website on the internet.
