The geniuses in Hollywood and WWE are teaming up for a reboot of “Leprechaun.”

HBO canceled its racing show “Luck” after three horses died.

“Weeds” is returning for yet another season in July.

Attractive Scientologist Jenna Elfman has been cast as the first lady in NBC’s new sitcom “1600 Penn.”

There’s a new “Garbage Pail Kids” movie in the works by stop-motion animation director PES.

The Rock is going to be in a third “Journey” movie!

“Grimm” will be coming back for a second season.

Movies Out This Weekend

21 Jump Street - This is a movie version of a TV show that I don’t remember anybody loving all that much in the first place.  Yet, this movie somehow is “certified fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes with 87%.  I’m conflicted about this movie, because it actually looks like it could be pretty good, but it is also a reflection of the complete creative bankruptsy in Hollywood and seeing it will only encourage them to keep remaking and adapting TV show.  Soon we will have a “Green Acres” movie starring Blake Lively, whoever that is.
